Solid State Logic
Solid State Logic (SSL) was founded in 1969 by Colin Sanders in Begbroke, Oxfordshire (UK). Initially focused on organ and control electronics, the company revolutionised the studio with the SL 4000 (1976) and its automation, becoming a world reference for high-end analogue consoles. From the late 1980s SSL moved into digital and post-production (ScreenSound, Scenaria, OmniMix), then the A-series digital consoles and, later, its broadcast (C100/C300) and live (Live) ranges.
