The SSL Live L350 is a live digital console built around the Tempest engine, SSL's fourth-generation audio processing platform, which uses Optimal Core Processing (OCP) for low-latency handling. It offers 216 processing paths (168 fully processed, 48 without), 36 matrix outputs and 36 VCAs, with buses configurable as mono, stereo, LCR and 5.1.
The surface takes a compact 24 + 2 fader format split across two banks of 12, with 100 mm motorised faders freely assignable to channels or VCAs. On the I/O side, the L350 handles up to 600 physical points at 96 kHz, distributed over SSL's proprietary Blacklight optical network (MADI over fibre), with MADI and Dante available. It carries the Live range's workflow (large touchscreen and dedicated processing section) into a smaller footprint.
