History & design
The SSL Live L200 is a mid-range digital mixing console launched in 2017 by Solid State Logic, sitting between the compact L100 and the larger L300/L500. It is built on the high-headroom Tempest engine.
It offers 144 fully processed paths, configurable as up to 96 input channels, 48 aux sends, 24 stem groups and 6 masters, plus a 4×32-input / 24-output matrix. Sampling is 96 kHz and the console handles up to 600 physical I/O.
The surface lines up three tiles of twelve faders plus a master tile — 38 motorised 100 mm faders including master and focus. A 17-inch multi-gesture touchscreen, combined with Quick Controls, centralises control. The “inverted-T” chassis brings essential controls and sprung-arm external screens closer to the centre. I/O: SuperAnalogue stageboxes over MADI or Dante and Blacklight over fibre.
