The C10 HD is SSL's compact broadcast console, designed for control rooms where space and quiet matter: it is self-contained, with no external processing racks, and passively cooled — ideal for a small gallery or a quiet booth. The surface comes in frame sizes from 16 to 48 faders, and the console handles up to 160 channels. Each channel offers a 4-band EQ, a compressor, a limiter, an insert and a delay; the optional Wide Range 2 Band Filters add high- and low-pass filters and expand the EQ to a full six-band parametric. The console provides 64 channels of delay, up to 5.4 seconds per channel.
For connectivity, the C10 HD centralises I/O over MADI (four MADI ports on the HD PLUS version), with analog, digital or SDI inputs. It carries a suite of production tools: Broadcast Production Automation compatible with Ross, Sony and Mosart Medialab, 5.1 Upmix for surround output, C-Play for dual-player spot and music playout, and Dialogue Automix for automatic level management of multiple mics on a talk-show set.
