Allen & Heath

Allen & Heath was founded in London in 1968 by Andrew Bereza and Stephen Batiste. The company made its name hand-building consoles for the era's biggest acts — Genesis, The Who and Pink Floyd, for whom it built the MOD1 quadraphonic console.

After an analogue era defined by the GL and ML ranges, the maker moved into digital with iLive (2006), then brought digital live mixing to the masses with the Qu series (2013) and the GLD. The flagship dLive platform launched in 2014, followed by the SQ (2017), the Avantis (2020) and the ultra-compact CQ range (2024).

Based in Penryn, Cornwall, Allen & Heath is today part of the Audiotonix group, which brings together several major professional-audio brands.
