History & design
The Qu-Pac is a compact digital mixing console introduced by Allen & Heath in 2015. A faderless version of the Qu range, it uses the Qu-32 processing engine: 32 mono and 3 stereo channels, an LR master, four mono mixes and three stereo mixes, plus four stereo RackFX engines. The 3U rackmount chassis houses 16 recallable AnalogiQ mic/line preamps and 3 stereo inputs; the input count can be raised to 38 by connecting a remote AudioRack over the dSNAKE (Cat5) port. Conversion runs at 48 kHz / 24-bit and a USB Qu-Drive recorder allows multitrack capture. With no physical faders, the Qu-Pac is controlled from its front touchscreen and/or the Qu-Pad (iPad mixing) and Qu-You (personal monitoring) apps.
