Avid
Avid Technology, maker of Pro Tools and Media Composer, entered live sound by acquiring Digidesign, whose VENUE range had launched in 2005. The VENUE consoles (D-Show, then Profile, SC48, Mix Rack) were first sold under the Digidesign brand before moving to the Avid brand around 2010. Their signature is native integration with the Pro Tools ecosystem for multitrack recording and virtual soundcheck.
