History & design
The S3 is a compact, sixteen-channel, EUCON-enabled control surface with a built-in audio interface. Each strip carries a 100 mm touch-sensitive motorised fader, a meter, two touch-sensitive rotary encoders and an OLED display. In all, sixteen channel encoders and sixteen assignable encoders give access to pan, gain and plug-in parameters.
Through EUCON, the Ethernet technology inherited from Euphonix, the S3 talks directly to Pro Tools, Cubase, Nuendo, Logic Pro and other applications. Its built-in 4×6 AVB Core audio interface makes it an all-in-one monitoring and control solution for compact studios.
