History & design
The Studer Vista 1 is the most compact of the Vista range, designed for broadcast, live and production. It carries the Vistonics interface (40 on-screen rotary knobs) of the Vista V and Vista X for an identical look and feel in a transportable format. Its integral 96-channel DSP engine handles mono, stereo and 5.1.
The standard configuration offers 32 mic/line inputs, 16 line outputs and 4 pairs of AES I/O, with 22- or 32-fader models. It carries the expected broadcast features: monitoring, talkback, red light, GPIO, N-x (mix-minus) buses, snapshot automation and DAW control. I/O expands through the Studer D21m slot (MADI, AES, AoIP/Dante, ADAT, TDIF, CobraNet, Dolby E/Digital, SDI). It is ideal for OB/ENG vans, small studios and mobile productions where the console must be moved often.
