History & design
The Vista 9 is a Studer digital console introduced in 2010 for broadcast and live capture. Its 40-fader surface is fully networkable. It carries on the Vista 5, 6, 7 and 8 lineage, supplementing the Vistonics interface, those touch TFT screens showing ten strips, with encoders and switches mounted directly on the panel ('Where you look is where you control'), with new-generation 'wide screen' TFT metering and the FaderGlow system, which lights each fader in one of eight freely assignable colours to signal groups and console status at a glance.
