History & design
The Studer Vista V is a broadcast digital mixing console unveiled in 2014, carrying the Vista X's Infinity Core engine in a more compact frame. This CPU-based core delivers 800+ audio channels and 5,000+ inputs/outputs, with twelve high-capacity A-Link ports (1,536 channels each) for D23m I/O integration and direct connection to broadcast routing systems.
Reliability rests on Quad Star technology: four independent processors (two for the fader bays, two for the meterbridge) remove the single point of failure on the surface. The operator keeps Studer's Vistonics touch interface and colour-coded FaderGlow. The console comes in 32-, 42- or 52-fader versions with an optional built-in meterbridge, full surround handling, Dynamic Automation and DAW remote control.
