History & design
The Studer OnAir 2500 is a digital mixing console designed for radio broadcasting. It integrates the control surface, I/O, DSP core and power supply into a single chassis. The surface comes in 12, 18 or 24 100 mm faders, motorized or not, around a 12-inch central touchscreen with four encoders; OLED displays sit on the channel and central modules.
Audio is processed at 48 kHz with headroom adjustable from 0 to 20 dB. Connectivity includes mic inputs, headphone outputs, line and AES I/O on XLR and SUB-D, plus MADI, ADAT and IEEE-1394 (FireWire) multichannel formats. A Modulo version allows integration into custom studio furniture.
