Studer
Founded in 1948 by Swiss engineer Willi Studer in Regensdorf, near Zurich, Studer became a worldwide benchmark for professional audio equipment. The company first built its reputation on legendary tape machines (A80, A800, A820) before moving into the digital domain in the 1990s. Acquired by Harman International in 1994, Studer developed a line of high-end digital consoles (D940, D950 and later the Vista series). The brand is today part of the Evertz group.
