History & design
The Si Compact is a range of three compact digital consoles sharing the Si series' EMMA Lite DSP platform. It comes in 16, 24 and 32 mic/line input frames, plus 4 stereo returns, for up to 40 inputs. Channels route to 14 mono aux busses, 4 FX busses, 4 matrices and an LRC mix buss.
The surface carries the Vi series' motorised FaderGlow faders on two layers, with a full encoder set giving access to each channel's gain, EQ, dynamics and bus controls. A colour touchscreen handles setup, display and naming. TOTEM mode sets up a bus mix with a single touch.
Mic preamps are the GB30 type, in Soundcraft tradition. Processing offers four stereo Lexicon FX engines and a graphic EQ on every buss. A 64×64 expansion slot accepts Si-series cards, including a MADI card.
