The SRP-X500P is a digital multi-media matrix mixer from Sony, a compact derivative of the flagship SRP-X7000P. In a 3U format it integrates the functions of seven devices: audio mixer, 4-channel digital power amplifier, matrix, audio/video source selector and processing. It offers four XLR mic inputs (-60 to -30 dBu), one stereo line input and five A/V source selectors (each with stereo audio), four speaker outputs and four line outputs. Conversion is 48 kHz / 24-bit with 32-bit floating-point internal processing, and each mic source has independent feedback reduction.
It targets conference rooms, boardrooms, lecture halls and houses of worship: a complete, controllable audio system for audiovisual installation rather than a stage or studio console.
