Sony
Founded in 1946 in Tokyo, Sony long played a major role in professional audio: tape machines, converters, digital recorders (PCM, DASH) and consoles. Its pro division built both analogue studio desks (the MXP series) and, later, digital mixers and the celebrated Oxford OXF-R3 console.
