History & design
The Quantum338 brings DiGiCo's Quantum FPGA engine into a more compact chassis than the Quantum7. The surface has 38 touch-sensitive 100 mm faders in three blocks of twelve plus two assignable faders, and three 1000-nit 17-inch touch-screens, backed by seventy TFT channel displays.
For mixing, the console offers 128 fully processed input channels, up to 64 aux/sub-group busses and a 24 x 24 matrix. The Quantum engine adds Mustard and Nodal processing, Spice Rack emulations and True Solo. Conversion uses the Ultimate Stadius 32-bit converters fitted as standard. Connectivity includes six MADI connections (or three redundant), two DMI slots for AoIP and a built-in UB MADI USB recording interface.
Unveiled at NAMM 2020, the Quantum338 has become one of the most popular touring and installation consoles in the Quantum range.
