History & design
Released in 2016, the DiGiCo SD12 is a 72-channel console running at 48 or 96 kHz, driven by Stealth Digital Processing on Super FPGA and Core 2 software. The surface has 26 physical faders and two 15-inch LCD touchscreens.
Each channel has a delay, 24 dB/octave high- and low-pass filters, a 4-band parametric EQ, and the DYN 1 (compressor, de-esser or multiband compressor) and DYN 2 (gate, compressor or ducker) modules. On board are 119 assignable Dynamic EQs, 119 Multiband Compressors and 119 DiGiTuBes. The SD12 96 version adds 8 mic/line inputs, 8 outputs, 8 AES/EBU and dual MADI, plus two DMI option slots (Dante, Waves, optics, etc.).
