Midas
Founded in London in 1970 by Jeff Byers, Midas became the byword for high-end analogue live-sound consoles through the 1980s and 1990s (PRO, XL3, XL4, Heritage 3000 series). The brand passed through Telex/EVI Audio and Bosch before joining Music Group (Behringer) in 2009. Long reluctant to go digital, Midas finally made the leap with the XL8 in 2007, its first digital console.
