AMEK
Amek was founded in 1971 in Manchester by Nick Franks and Graham Langley. Through the 1980s and 1990s the maker stood out with high-end consoles, several of which (Mozart, 9098) were designed in collaboration with Rupert Neve, then a consultant to the brand. Amek was later absorbed into the Harman group before fading as an active brand.
