Description
The mc²36 brings Lawo's networking know-how into a compact, self-contained frame. Above all, it's a broadcast-ready console: 256 DSP paths, a huge I/O capacity for its size, and native ST2110/AES67/Ravenna support that plugs it straight into modern IP infrastructures, no external router required.

History & design
The Lawo mc²36 is a compact digital production console introduced in 2014, designed for broadcast and live in the audio-over-IP era. It offers 256 DSP processing channels (at 48 and 96 kHz) and an 864-channel I/O capacity. The surface comes in a 16 or 32-fader frame (dual-fader bay), with a 48-fader version added in 2021. Local connectivity includes 16 mic/line inputs, 16 line outputs, 8 AES3 I/O, 8 GPIO, an SFP MADI port and three redundant IP network interfaces. The console natively supports ST2110, AES67 and Ravenna, and integrates A__UHD Core functionality on recent generations.
