History & design
The Lawo Ruby is a radio mixing console built around audio-over-IP. RAVENNA / AES67 and SMPTE ST2110-30 are native: the software handles up to 256 simultaneous AES67/RAVENNA channels, with 128 AES67 streams as native I/O and full dual-network redundancy offering instantaneous recovery from a fault.
The all-metal surface comes in 4, 8, 12 or 16-fader frames, combinable up to 60 faders in single or split configuration, with 100 mm motorised faders featuring a dust shield. The Ruby includes a 1920 x 1920 internal router, Lawo's hands-free AutoMix (up to 32 inputs across four groups), Autogain (one-touch mic gain calibration), one-touch On-Air / Production switching, snapshots linked to the motorised faders and an integral web server for remote management. It is available in desktop or flush-mount versions.
