History & design
The Korg 168RC is a 1993 digital mixing console at the heart of the SoundLink DRS system. It offers a 16-channel / 24-input architecture over 8 buses (including four auxiliaries), a 24-bit internal signal path, two stereo effects processors, a three-band EQ with parametric mid on twelve channels, plus twelve motorised faders and a graphic display. Shipped with eight insert-equipped analogue inputs, it expands to twenty-four inputs via two 880A/D converters. Automation combines internal snapshots and real-time control from a MIDI sequencer.
