Software
SensoftOnboard software driving the Sy80's surface and engine (Sensoft 8.1, then Sensoft 9). It handles patching, SmartFAD fader assignment, bus routing and channel processing.
Accessories
Stagebox / rack
- Muxipair audio rack (Mix Box)
Remote audio rack linked to the surface over the Muxipaire bus (coaxial or optical cable), carrying stage inputs/outputs.
- DioCore rack (EtherSound)
Remote EtherSound stage rack providing additional networked inputs/outputs.

History & design
The InnovaSON Sy80 (also branded “Grand Live”) is a digital live-sound mixing console launched in 2003 alongside its smaller sibling the Sy48. It is built around a steel-chassis control surface with 80 motorised faders, each freely assignable thanks to SmartFAD technology: a mono or stereo input channel, a bus, a VCA, a subgroup, an aux send or a matrix can be placed on any fader.
The digital engine offers 104 input channels, 48 mix buses and up to 144 outputs. Each channel provides a gate, a compressor, a 4-band parametric EQ, a delay, a high-pass filter and phase invert. Audio transport relies on the proprietary Muxipaire bus (coaxial or optical cable) and on the EtherSound network, with remote stage racks (including the DioCore rack). The surface comprises a Channel Control panel, a Desk Control panel and Quadfad modules, and integrates a 15-inch TFT screen and a fully redundant power supply. The onboard Sensoft software drives the whole system.
