InnovaSON
InnovaSON (from “Innovative Sound”) was a French manufacturer founded in 1993 and based in Plougoumelen, Brittany. An early pioneer of the digital live-sound console, the brand became known for its fully assignable fader surfaces (SmartFAD) and its proprietary Muxipaire audio transport, and later for its early adoption of the EtherSound network. In April 2008 Germany's Lawo acquired a majority stake in the company; the range was subsequently absorbed and then discontinued in the early 2010s.
