The QCon Pro G2 is a universal DAW control surface from iCON Pro Audio. It lines up eight touch-sensitive motorised channel faders, a motorised master fader, eight multi-purpose push encoders ringed with LEDs, a jog/shuttle wheel and 78 buttons, plus a large backlit LCD and an LED time display (SMPTE or MTC).
Compatibility relies on Mackie Control and HUI emulation, which opens up virtually every DAW (Cubase/Nuendo, Logic, Ableton Live, Pro Tools, Studio One, Reaper, Bitwig, etc.), with overlays included. The iCON iMap software allows custom MIDI mapping. The surface expands up to 32 channels by adding up to three QCon EX G2 extenders, and has two foot-pedal jacks.
It is not an audio mixing console: the QCon Pro G2 processes no signal, it controls the DAW's software mixer over USB-MIDI.
