Allen & Heath iLive-T112

The large fixed-format iLive surface, with a remote RackExtra 64×32 engine

Description

For many FOH engineers, myself included, the iLive-T112 was the first genuinely large-format Allen & Heath digital console at a reachable price: 28 motorised faders, a dedicated analogue-style processing strip and, above all, the RackExtra engine sitting in a remote MixRack linked over a single Cat5. That surface-plus-rack architecture, well ahead of its time in 2008, paved the way for the dLive.
