History & design
The TF-Rack is a rackmount digital mixing console introduced by Yamaha in 2016, a surface-less variant of the TF series. It processes 40 input channels (32 mono, 2 stereo, 2 returns) sampled at 48 kHz, offers 16 mic/line combo inputs and 16 analog outputs, and provides 20 aux buses, 8 DCA groups, 8 effect processors and 10 graphic EQs.
With no faders, it is driven by the TF StageMix app on iPad, the TF Editor software and the MonitorMix personal-monitor apps. An NY expansion slot accepts the NY64-D Dante card, tying it into Tio stageboxes and the brand's networked ecosystem.
