History & design
The Harrison Series Twelve is a digitally controlled analog console designed for film, broadcast and music. Its principle: separate the fully digital control surface from the analog audio processing racks. The surface uses up to four channel layers, allowing a compact footprint; a touch screen serves as the interface to the mix computer, built around a NuBus-bus Apple machine.
The architecture is modular: the surface layout is configured per application (film, broadcast, music studio). Every channel carries an expander/gate, a compressor, a full 4-band parametric EQ and a pair of filters. The console is fully surround-ready, with panning up to 7.1.
