Roland VM-7200

Roland's modular V-Mixing System

Broadcast Live Studio Discontinued 1999–2005 · JA · Digital

Description

The VM-7200 is the heart of Roland's V-Mixing System: a 24-bit rack processor driven by the VM-C7200 console and its 25 motorised faders. Modular and expandable to 94 channels over the R-BUS bus, it served churches, TV stages and small live rigs around the turn of the 2000s. A processor-plus-surface architecture ahead of its time.
