Euphonix

Euphonix System 5

Euphonix's first all-digital console

Description

The System 5 marks Euphonix's move from digitally controlling an analogue core to going fully digital. Shown at the Fall 1999 AES, it was designed for large-format work — film, broadcast, post — with a very legible assignable surface and its famous 'Phat' encoders. I rate it among the most elegant production digital consoles of its generation.
