Description

Launched in 2009, the Calrec Apollo set a benchmark for high-end broadcast production: the Bluefin2 engine gives up to 1020 processing paths at 48 kHz, a wealth of buses and IFBs, while Hydra2 deploys an 8192×8192 router for complex infrastructures. What I value in Calrec is the “on-air first” philosophy: redundancy at every stage, a workflow legible under pressure and modularity from 8 to 320 faders. For big sports and news, it’s a safe bet.
