History & design
The DiGiCo SD10 is a 144-channel digital mixing console positioned as the mid-format of the SD series. It offers up to 132 input channels, 218 EQs and multiband compressors, 64 assignable buses, a 24×24 matrix and LR/LCR/LCRS/5.1 masters. The master section includes 24 32-band graphic EQs, 24 stereo effects from a palette of 33, and 24 control groups (VCAs).
It all runs on Stealth Digital Processing and floating-point Super FPGA technology at 96 kHz. The worksurface has three banks of twelve motorised faders plus a master fader, each with its own LED bargraph, around a 15" TFT touchscreen.
Local I/O includes 8 mic/line inputs, 8 line outputs, 8 mono AES, two redundant MADI links and 16 GPI/GPO expandable to 32. Over Optocore, up to 14 SD-Racks and five redundant engines share an optical loop totalling 1,152 I/O points. The SD10 comes in SD10-24, SD10B and SD10T (theatre) variants.
