Our take
History & design
The Audioarts D-75 is a digital broadcast mixing console, fully modular and hybrid by design: it accepts analogue and digital sources alike and provides outputs in both domains. It offers four stereo busses, dual-domain outputs and sample-rate conversion on all digital inputs.
The frame comes in 18- or 26-position sizes (12 or 20 input modules), plus an output module, a control-room module and a studio module. The input daughter cards are interchangeable, allowing a channel to be converted analogue-to-digital on site. LED metering shows full-scale digital peak and VU; automatic timer, machine interface and clock are standard. The power supply is a separate 2U rackmount SPS-100, convection cooled.
