History & design
The Behringer Wing is a compact digital mixing console introduced in 2019. It handles 48 stereo input channels and 28 buses (4 main, 8 matrix, 16 aux), all driven by a 40-bit floating-point engine at 48 kHz. The surface carries 24 motorized 100 mm faders in three sections plus a 10.1-inch touchscreen at the center of the workflow.
Each channel has a full processing chain and five plug-in slots modeling vintage EQs and compressors. Connectivity relies on 8 local Midas PRO preamps, 3 AES50 SuperMAC ports compatible with X32-family stageboxes, a StageConnect port (32 channels over one XLR cable) and a 64x64 expansion slot accepting Dante, MADI, ADAT, Waves SoundGrid cards or the WING-LIVE recording card. A 48x48 USB audio interface is built in.
