History & design
Launched in 2012, the Behringer X32 is a 40-channel, 25-bus digital mixing console with 32 Midas-designed mic preamps. Its surface carries 25 motorised 100 mm faders and a 7-inch colour TFT screen. Processing includes parametric EQ and dynamics on every channel and bus, plus eight true-stereo effects engines.
Two AES50 ports (SuperMAC) feed up to 96 channels to digital stageboxes such as the S16 and SD series. An expansion slot ships with a 32x32 USB audio card and accepts other formats (MADI, ADAT, Dante). The range spans the X32 Compact, Producer, Rack and Core.
