Axia Audio
Axia Audio is a brand of the American Telos Alliance (Telos Systems) group, based in Cleveland, Ohio. Founded in 2003, Axia pioneered Audio-over-IP (AoIP) for broadcast: it invented the Livewire protocol, which carries hundreds of channels of uncompressed real-time audio, control logic and associated data over a single Ethernet cable.
Its radio consoles (Element, iQ, Radius, later iQx) helped move radio studios onto networked infrastructures.
