AMS Neve
AMS Neve was formed in 1992 from the Siemens-led merger of AMS (Advanced Music Systems, founded by Mark Crabtree in Burnley) and Neve Electronics, heir to Rupert Neve's work begun in the 1960s. Based in Burnley (Lancashire, England), the brand is renowned both for its legendary analog preamps and EQs and for pioneering digital consoles: the Capricorn (the first large-format digital console, 1993), the Logic series (Logic 1, 2, 3, MMC) and the DFC film-console line. AMS Neve received a Technical Grammy in 2000 as well as Oscar and Emmy awards.
