DDA
DDA (Dearden Davies Associates) was a British console manufacturer founded in the mid-1980s by engineer David Dearden, a historic co-founder of Midas. The brand became known for keenly priced analogue consoles with a well-regarded sound (its slogan was "Sound Thinking"). DDA was absorbed into the Klark-Teknik group: late-catalogue brochures, including the DMR12's, carry the "A Klark-Teknik Company" line and the Inwood Business Park (Hounslow) address. David Dearden went on to design the Midas XL200 and the initial concept of the Midas H1000. The DDA brand faded during the 1990s.
